About
Patricia Tyler, LCSW
Therapist
Offers In-Person and Telehealth Therapy
I enjoy helping people do their deeper therapeutic work. I’ve been a social worker for over 30 years, and it continues to feel like a privilege to play the role I do in people’s lives. By day, I support adolescents managing acute crises in my role as a high school Triage Clinician. By night, I turn my attention to adults, who have moved beyond a period of acute crisis and reached a point of stabilization where they can examine the deeper aspects of their lives.
Many people live their lives with the effects of trauma, and often feel stuck when they try to make powerful transitions or internalize positive changes. This is the area of support I am passionate about.
I am a certified Reiki practitioner and also incorporate Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) into much of what I do. We are fortunate that so many healing modalities are available to augment the more familiar evidence-based models in therapy, and my clients and I work together to find the right combination to meet their needs.
Working beyond trauma takes time, but it’s possible to heal your past, so you can live with more peace and happiness in the present. If you are willing to put in the work to take your healing to a deeper level, I am here to support you.
Reach out, and let’s see if we’re a fit.

Good Faith Estimate Notice for Uninsured and Self-Pay Clients: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
